We understand that in every business there are timelines that have to be met in one aspect or another. To accommodate our clients, we offer courier assistance to transport important documents that are time sensitive to help you meet pending deadlines. A flat rate fee applies for travel that includes a mileage rate of 67 cents per mile (costed out roundtrip to and from point of destination). After your intake form is received and reviewed by an Expediter, we will contact you within 24-hrs. to schedule a consultation (free up to 1-hour) to discuss the details of your project and develop a plan to move forward.
Our plan is to incorporate everyone involved in the work of the project, collect information, and all forms required by the City to adequately prepare and submit your application(s). Once all necessary information is acquired, the target time for submission is within 1-3 business days. L&I has a specific schedule they use to process applications in accordance with the category of each permit. The process can range from 3 to 20 days depending upon the permit type. We will inform you of the specific timeline allocated by the City for your permit type(s). As a result of the Pandemic, many City departments have restricted hours or are by appointment only, which can affect the turnaround time. Nevertheless, every effort will be made to meet L&I requirements to help streamline the application process.
We will submit the permit application, plans, forms, and other documents to the appropriate City department(s) in person or electronically online at the City's ECIPSE website. Then we will monitor the status of your application and track the reviews. If any additional information is needed, we will inform you and coordinate efforts to submit the required documents to the City. Ultimately, once your permit(s) is approved, we will collect and deliver them to you.
